According to the Webster dictionary, content is “the major part or ingredient used to make up something”. This statement holds true for the digital world also. Content is most likely the core idea used to create anything we see on the net. The ideas we try to inculcate to bring about the magic in our advertisements or the thought behind a simple campaign or most simply put, the thinking that goes behind making new things that please our target audience. We as part of the digital world, you know very well, how the ideas and words can make a huge impact on people. In present times, it’s a fact that good content sells. But what is good content? How can we make content that sells? Everything is a story Have you ever thought, why is fiction is so appealing to everyone? People ranging from all age groups, read stories like its the most natural thing to them. The most practical example is of a child in school. In the earlier days, books were not friendly to read, a lot of hard words and phrases would get used to explaining the smallest of things. Kids were more likely to fail with such teaching. Then the books became simpler, like storybooks. It’s a lot easier to understand for humans and well as for robotic text searches. Simple content and most likely one written like a simple story become very easy to search and read. It appeals to the crowd even more and since the words are less complicated the search engine catches the exact gist of it. Similarly for bloggers and writers, if they want something to be remembered, they write it so, simply that it registers in the readers' minds. It’s the way you write that counts Uniqueness counts Imagine you are reading a book, and this book turns out to be a very similar story and character line of your most favorite story u have read a long time back. Won’t you feel like this is an exact copy? And after this, would u bother reading the story further. This is exactly why writers in present times put a lot of time and energy in creating unique content. People are exposed to a lot of things and it’s very difficult to not find similarities. But even the smallest Uniqness counts because that’s what makes the entire content different. You can find a lot of ideas and content online for the same thing ranging to infinity Web pages but there is always a small chance that what you write may be different in so many ways. Your way of words and flair is different from others so it’s easy to differentiate you from others. Content writers have such a tough job, they need to keep finding unique content to keep the audience engaged in their content. So that audience reciprocates the feelings the writer puts in his content Practice makes perfect Rome was not built in a day as some say. it’s true, But practice and change can make you better. Everything takes time. So if you're in a rush, you need to give it a thought because nothing has gone right in the first attempt with a lot of people and practice is always key. If you want, you could keep a handy book just to write some ideas or layout of a story. Everything and anything can be practiced. Content writing or Blog writing for that matter is a profession that has come from mere hard work. To make the best content, writers go through hours of brainstorming and writer blocks to come up with the best content they can offer. It’s simple to copy or write in big words but only with practice can one give their best results Think like your audience After the digital revolution, our world is going through, it has become very hard and challenging for content writers, bloggers and even people in the digital field to contemplate how to satisfy the masses and make engaging content. The crowd-pleasing techniques are never enough. Half the population is quite knowledgeable about the trends of the world and how the Internet goes about. We have various platforms and various topics. So one needs to be very smart and think like their target audience. If I m selling shoes I can’t talk about hair. Or if I m talking about hair I can’t advertise about lingerie. We need to understand where the heart of the audience lies. What is it that they want and how to provide it to them. Talk about what you sell only and don’t distract people with things that aren’t needed currently. If you want to sell tell them that, because unless you don’t think like your audience, you may never be able to deal with your audience.
